Daniel Fitzpatrick
After graduating from Lake Castle in 2005, Daniel Fitzpatrick went on to Jesuit High School and the University of Dallas, where he studied Philosophy and joined Phi Beta Kappa, the nation’s oldest honor society.
He then returned to Jesuit, where he teaches English and oversees the Blue Jay Annual, National Honor Society, and Calliope, the Jesuit student literary magazine. He is the author of eight books of fiction, translation, poetry, and philosophy. He is the founding editor of Joie de Vivre: A Journal of Art, Culture, and Letters for South Louisiana. He lives with his wife, Grace, and his four children in Metairie.
