Jennifer Tran
After graduating Lake Castle in 2018, Jennifer Tran attended Benjamin Franklin High School, where she graduated the salutatorian of her class and was awarded the Key Award. She is currently a student at New York University with a major in Biology and minor in Creative Writing.
As a pre-dental student, Jennifer is constantly challenged in her STEM courses, but because of her involvement in math competitions at Lake Castle, she learned at a young age how to critically think and look at problems in different perspectives. Her love for classic novels and strong foundation of grammar were fostered at this elementary school, allowing her to articulate her ideas sophisticatedly and be the expressive writer she is. One of her proudest achievements is being a College Leader at NYU, where she mentors first year students and serves as a teaching assistant.
Even though speaking in front of a large group of strangers may be intimidating at times, all the presentations and speeches she’s given throughout her years at Lake Castle have prepared her to carry herself with confidence. As of now, Jennifer is enjoying all that New York City has to offer her and is preparing to apply to dental school in the near future.
