The Clipper Club is open to 4th through 8th grade students. The club collects Box Tops for Education and Labels for Education. We ask parents to send in the box tops and labels in an envelope with the child’s class on the front of the envelope. Members of the Clipper Club will go to each classroom and collect the envelopes, count the box tops and labels. They then keep a total of items turned-in and at the end of the Report Card period the class with the highest percentage turned-in wins an ice cream party. The money we received from these box tops and labels have been supplementing our P.E. department. Last year we raised over $1,000 to buy different equipment for our student body. Everyone benefits from our club.
The Clipper Club also collects can tops (such as soft drink can tops) for Ronald McDonald House. We turn them in through the Kiwanis Club. We only get recognition and gratitude for collecting these tops.
We collect from the classes on Tuesday afternoon between 1:45 and 2:45 P.M. Each member has a specific class and schedule for collecting from their class. Members must be a student in good standing, both academically and behaviorally. We meet during school hours only.
Please help our club stay successful by collecting box tops, soup labels, and sending them in to your child’s class.
Thank you so much for turning in your labels, it really does make a difference.
